I have always worked within healthcare and I have a nursing and midwifery background.
I have been interested in Complementary Therapies for several years. I have been amazed at the effect these treatments have had on my general health and wellbeing, and I want to help other people achieve the same benefits.
I studied Reflexology for a year at the Yorkshire School of Clinical Reflexology and qualified with the Association of Reflexologists. This is a professional body with a strict code of conduct to which I am bound as a full member.
I studied Aromatherapy at the Penny Price Academy, gaining an Associate Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy. I am a full member of IFPA - the International Association of Professional Aromatherapists.
As a member of both the above professional bodies, I am responsible for my own learning and development and attend regular courses for Continuing Professional Development.
I am on the NHS Register of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.
I am fully insured and hold a current First Aid certificate.
